We are pleased that you have registered for the WAIR and SPH event in Amsterdam! On this page, you will find all the essential details, as well as the schedule for the two event days. Please note that changes may be made as necessary.
WAIR covers all on-site expenses in Amsterdam, including meals and dinner.
Participants are responsible for organizing and covering the costs of their travel and accommodation. For a comfortable stay, we recommend the 5-star hotel Amrâth Amsterdam.

Evening Program

From the hotel, we will walk together to the Ship Chandlers Warehouse, our dinner location for the evening. Beforehand, the hotel bar offers the opportunity to relax and meet in a casual atmosphere. The Ship Chandlers Warehouse, known as the oldest retail location in the Netherlands, is a short 5-minute walk (300 m) from the hotel.

Enjoy a delicious dinner at the historic Ship Chandlers Warehouse, accompanied by drinks and an engaging presentation by Steven about the history of Amsterdam.

Canal cruise through Amsterdam’s canals. This tour take place in a relaxed atmosphere with no presentations, allowing you to fully embrace the Dutch gezellig spirit and relax.
- 22:45 hrs
Arrival by boat, with the option to continue the evening at local sailor pubs or return to the hotel to end the day.

10 April 2025
Departure from the hotel

- Bus stop: AMS Centre Ruyterkade Oost
Breakfast and checkout are available starting from 7:00 hrs.
Please ensure you allow enough time to get from the hotel to the meeting point.
The bus (a black bus marked “The Experience VIP Lounge”) will be waiting at the bus stop.
Luggage Note:
For those attendees travelling directly to Schiphol Airport in the afternoon (arriving after 16:00 hrs), please bring your luggage with you on the bus. The bus will not return to the center of Amsterdam before 17:00 hrs.

On arrival at Shoeby´s modern headquarters, the program will begin with an inspiring talk by Remy Gieling, a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence. This will be followed by an exclusive tour of the company, providing a behind-the-scenes insights into Shoeby’s operations and showcasing how the company leverages innovative approaches and technologies to shape the future of retail.
